Background & Activities

The Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA), established on 13 July 2000, is an autonomous and independent Federation of Employers and Business Associations recognized and registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Labor, Vocational Training and Youth Rehabilitations of Cambodia. Having been established due to the increasing need for the private sector to stand together with a unified voice, CAMFEBA has become the single federation representing, promoting and safeguarding the rights and interests of employers in Cambodia. CAMFEBA provides a forum for consultation and discussion among members on matters of common interest, and seeks for the adoption of sound principles and practices of human resource and industrial relations through information, legal advice, research, training and other activities

Background & Activities

The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) was launched in September 2009 by a team of passionate Cambodian young entrepreneurs from various business sectors. It was established as a volunteer-driven non-profit organization with the ambition to empower young entrepreneurs and enhance youth entrepreneurship. YEAC believes that a country's next-generation economy's progression largely depends on the young professionals' readiness to become entrepreneurs and business leaders, thereby contributing to its economic growth and general development. Through its establishment of a networking platform, sharing and synergizing business opportunities, YEAC wants to contribute to productive employment and sustainable development of Cambodia's future economy

Background & Activities

The Association of Banks in Cambodia was formed in 1994 and is recognized by the Royal Government as the official organization to represent the country’s private banking sector. Our purpose is to promote constructive dialogue amongst member banks, and to serve as an industry voice to the public and the Government.
Our membership consists of local and foreign owned banks and branches. Membership in the Association is required under Chapter XXII of the Law on Banking and Financial Institutions, which states that all banks operating in Cambodia must belong “to a single professional association, whose Articles of Association shall have been endorsed by the supervisory authority.
The Association meets at least once a month and more often if required by urgent matters. The Association also has regular working committees that focus on specific issues. Since 1998, the Association has been an active member of the ASEAN Bankers Association and participates in all of its meetings and functions

EDUKADIN

In an effort to make Indonesia more competitive, the KADIN established EDUKADIN as an education and training facility for industrial and MSME entrepreneurs in Central Java. EDUKADIN professionally and consistently provides a hands-on education that is truly needed by those looking to improve their skills in the workplace.

In a joint project with the German chamber of commerce from Trier, EDUKADIN runs a website for private sector TVET information called vokasi.net

As the apex body of the three core private organizations of the Thai business sector, namely the BOT, the FTI and the TBA, the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB), equivalent to the chamber of commerce and industry in other countries, was established in 1977 to serve as a central coordinating body in providing recommendations and advice to the Joint Public-Private Sector Consultative Committee (JPPSCC) which is chaired by the Prime Minister, as well as the concerned authorities directly.
